Just starting up some questions and sticking more inline with Old Sk00L soulpancake style questions.

I definitely have, and know a few here have as well (as everyone left). Enough so that I can see a movie, and go, “that I relate to”. Rock n roll songs, too. Great loves, lotsa interesting work – no guns or knives – a lot of IRL gov stuff, and IRL heavenly stuff. Talk to tonnes of angels.

Run across some devils, too.

define good. A person can have a good life that would be boring to others. Another person can have an exciting life that others may not want because of the danger involved. A third person may have a life that might be seen to be good from the outside, but the reality is hell. Everything depends on one’s point of view.

@Jear77 Yeah, no, everyone has a story of eat, shit, fuck, raise kids.

Not, obviously, what I am talking about.

I know your story but if you disagree, please, do tell.

You had a job, it went bad. Now you work a job. You want money from God.

        End of story.

@five2one not just that. I’ve dealt with poverty. No friends… or very few. Sexual Abuse. Physical abuse. Even things that should have been good… or at least better, ended up being very bad. College education is normally seen as a good thing. Didn’t help me at all to get a job. I still have few friends, as i freak people out. If it weren’t for some other factors, i might be an incel, but as it is, i don’t swing that way. The job you’re talking about was something so i could put on my resume… never once did i get enough money to live off of. So don’t you dare tell me you know my story. You only know a tiny part.

@Jear77 I was not pretending to know your story…just was manipulative to get you to talk…

        Sorry.

I had multiple sexual abuse issues, as well.

Why do you think you freak ppl out?

        @Jear77 everyone is always manipulative.

It is what communication does. Intends to do. Some are very bad at it, others are good at resisting.

You want to manipulate me into yout belief systrm. I resist that.

I am just not a hypocritical liar.

        That is my religion.

As for your life, seven years or so, never heard ur real story before.

@Santa Bunny you claimed to be a 20 somethinh male. Sounds like you are a fifty something female now.

You are good at lying, I will hand that to you.

I never lie. It is against my angelic nature.

Wheres your real life and real self? Oh, you won’t share.

        Why?

Because it is something to hide.

@Santa Bunny “I could/would tell you my exact situation, and you won’t believe me, so what does it matter?”

Yeah, I would believe it, because say there was an error, and your email address connected to your acct isn’t pinkisthe[redacted]… or it is – does not matter – at best, you might be a movie star. Not a big deal to me.

Work I do > movie star. Not to judge but since you won’t say anything.

Maybe if you were a beautiful female movie start who was also on a special covert branch of seal team six… and had super regenerative powers beyond what wolverine has..

Even then, that would be beneath what I have in my life.

Only way you could slap me around is by being someone I have known in the past. And you would have to prove that by saying something only that person and I would know.

You’re NOT a movie star, you’re NOT Jim Morrison, Deadpool, Avenger, Iron Man, Lucifer, God, the Devil, Satan, Beelzebub, Jesus, Job, Marcus, Mary or any of the Wise Men. You are you, and you need to OWN IT!

It has no real plot to the story. A lot of starts and stops. Starting and leaving. Try this, then try that. Like a buffet where you take a dab of everything and throw some parts away. Traveling, only to find myself wanting to go home. Going here and then going there. Raising sons, only to let them go to fly on their own. Doing this, then doing that. Nothing lasts and there is no set plan. It would be as exciting as watching a shopper at Costco going through the store sampling all of the samples. Putting things in my cart, then putting them back. One adventure after another and nothing consistent. Then ending with the cherry at the top —- finding an exciting man who is fun and changeable as a buffet. Now, I can stay in one place and find a full life of adventures. Life is finally fitting like an old, well worn pair of jeans. Life is comfortable, at last.

It would make a movie seemingly without a plot, or goal.

@ladybarbara You have a good life. :-) Both you and immortal pirate.

In cinema, you have to slice and dice the truth to make it into a coherent story. Really, can be hard to see in momentary slices of our “Now”… I think… but, from eagle eye view of the future, we can see some story.

@five2one There are times that Immortal Pirate and I could have met, or passed like ships in the night. At Woodstock Rock Festival, he was near the wooded area — past the porta-potty area, while I was literally within feet of the wooded area. I hung near the porta-potty area because I had my two sons with me. However, I was fully adult and would never have looked at a teenaged boy. Then, nearly 10 years after that, we both frequented the Balboa Park area in San Diego, and both of us were interested in the same science exhibits at the Rubin H. Fleet Science exhibits. We could have met, but didn’t. I was just into my 30s and Immortal Pirate was a mid-twenties sailor. I would have been flattered, but not interested. I was more interested in my sons learning by the hands-on science exhibits. No, we could not meet until we were both ready —- when I was a widow, and he was just widowed. Until then, it wouldn’t work. However, it would fit in a movie about our lives.

@ladybarbara That is so romantic! You guys are so cute.

        Definitely, movie material.

Reminds me, on a darker note, of my current incursion into AA, and what dreadful steps finally took me there. That is, I could not quite drinking until I hit rock bottom, until the time was right.

From the beginning, my life has been an interesting story, and would probably make for a very long movie. If I could chose a director for said movie, I think I would pick Peter Jackson. His attention to detail makes every movie he directs a block buster. He directed the Lord Of The Rings movies…

Not sure who I would cast to play me in the various roles at certain ages…they would be many and varied. It might even take multiple motion pictures to tell my life story.

I have a good life so by definition that makes it not good enough for movies. Good movies are about people with crap lives. Life can be crap but those moments pass as do the good ones. It is all perspective; and your overall outlook on things.

@Novelist65 I love this! You get it! Being a hero is about going through a great pile of burning crap! The audience just loves to see you do that!

They have sympathy, but not really. The fun for them is they don’t have to be there for all the hard work, so they have a deep sense of relief.

And, when you, the hero, get your reward, they share in it, too. Wo all the hard work.

@five2one I think being a hero means being willing to do something or sacrifice something others aren’t willing to. It’s a conscious choice. I’m not really into the “superheros” in movies. That is all based on some coincidental thing that happened that was outside of their control. The heroes I’m into are Nelson Mandela, Gandhi; those who made conscious choices that directly affected their own lives negatively but stood to benefit massive others.

I have an alright life. It’s nothing special. It would be a boring movie I think. My life is better than most considering there isn’t really any extreme either way.

@2Thrash You are maybe just in a mood? Anyone can have a better life, if they want to… but it isn’t all what it is cracked up to be.

I am not comfortable with the mundane. The extreme has been normalized for me, though… though, I know it is just a matter of time before something else new happens.

@Santa Bunny Angels made up the alien concept. Such language helps people understand, as the reality is angels are so vastly alien in their being, they have to create metaphoric frameworks in language so as to build bridges of both conscious and unconscious language.

This does not mean angels are literally aliens from outerspace. It actually should mean something entirely different. Yes, the term “outerspace” and “heavens” are synonomous. But, the alien metaphor only goes so far.

        And, it is a metaphor.

There are probably not other “earths”, planets where there are sentient beings, out there — not in our universe, anyway.

But, there probably are other earths in other universes.

That is, the metaverse model of universes is probably correct.

And the “life on other planets” model of universe, is probably not correct.
