Do medical professionals have the right to deny assholes non essential services? What is the best way to foster empathy in xenophobes and those that would advocate unjust laws at the expense of those less fortunate in ways they would never let happen to them simply because they have the privilege of never being in that position. Own your privilege, attend therapy instead of church, and talk to those who have suffered before you decide their fate from your high backed chairs and unmoving hearts.

Question for you. What do your religions do to make you better human beings? All I hear is immigrants out dehumanize the other and horde rights for the privileged. Do you volunteer or help anybody that isn’t your immediate neighbor that isn’t part of your same ideology? Do you treat everybody who doesn’t live in your town or share your beliefs like escaped convicts? Does your religion make you a better person or just an asshole? If better tell me how? ‘Cause right now, pirate, weenis, and Barbara, I just don’t see it. I pity weenis’ kids for the brainwashing he’s doing to them.

@immortal_pirate is this relevant? I left my job because I was hearing voices and couldn’t do it asshole. 9-4 each day I’m focusing on my mental health at a PHP and I can’t wait to return to employment, even shit underemployment working for a bully like you.

You believe in God but you’ve spake nothing of how your theology makes you a better human being nor more compassionate. Are you this cold to your children? Do you think this bullshit of why you think you’re better than me and know better accomplishes anything but foster contempt and pity for you? Do you realize this behavior is exactly why your children want no role in your fucked up life? My career is none of your goddamn business and frankly I think my job prospects are brighter than yours once I get back in the office. Do you need a degree for your job, or just an absent heart? I can be a callous piece of shit too. You want to tell me because I’m unemployed I don’t know shit? So be it. But at least say it when you’re right about it and not when you’re butthurt I disrespected your hypocritical ethos.

@Squirrel You don’t know what you are talking about. I have never seen such a loving family as the family that Immortal Pirate has raised. He took care of his kids as babies and they were home schooled between Immortal Pirate and his wife. They are outstanding adults and very close to their father. To say that his children “want no role” in his life is purely opposite of reality. It is a lie!!! He has a very happy life and we go out together with his adult offspring a lot. They have always been a close family.

I wouldn’t know because I have never been a sociopath. I have seen some sociopathic people, but they were on Death Row. While I could write reports on them, I never bothered to understand that mentality that had no moral compass or conscience.

I think that Weenis’ children have a good life. They are being brought up with a father who is always there for them. He leads the family like a man should. His children have training in scouts and all the wonderful adventures children should have. Being a gun collector, he trains his children in gun safety, safety rules, and marksmanship. He takes his family to church and has family home evenings. I am sure his family is educated and secure. They will turn out to be morally straight and outstanding members of society because they have a father who cares and loves his family.

@ladybarbara and what does going to church have to do with anything?

you do know that the Catholic Church intentionally hides the fact that priests molest children?

        yea CHURCH!!!!!!

@Tits McGee I really don’t know anything about church. Well, all I know about the Catholic church is that you are not supposed to drink the water in the tiny fountain just inside the door. The tiny cracker is tasteless and I will not drink the wine, because I am a Baha’i and alcohol is forbidden in the Baha’i Faith. The Baha’i Faith has temples, but they are for people of all other religions to be able to gather together and worship as their religion worships. Baha’is rarely use our Baha’i temples. And we don’t have churches. I know about Synagogue, because I used to follow in the Jewish Faith. Weenis attends church. It is a part of bringing up his children.

@Squirrel I’m happily retired and I don’t have to work, I’m financially secure. I’m sorry that you hear voices in your head and it effects your ability to maintain gainful employment.

When my wife was still alive, I only did what the voices in her head told me to do. lol

@Squirrel Immortal Pirate has not been a prison guard for a few years. A few years ago, he retired. Nowadays, we spend our days doing whatever we want to do. We have fun in life, going to parties, dinners, theater, festivals, and just about anything happening around here. Life is for having fun and we have the financial means of doing anything that sounds like it would be fun to do. Life is relaxing. We each have our own interests. Being close to his adult children, Immortal Pirate likes to go and visit them, and we do things together as a big family of adults.

@ladybarbara complete with a delusional worldview built on an ethos from before women could vote. He’s intelligent and loves his family but I’ve also seen him use his religiosity to justify callousness and inhumanity. Women can lead households plenty fine too. Consider trying it. You might be happier. Going to church every week made me a worse person, not a better one. It taught me to resent religion and to identify hypocrisies in dogmas that refuse to practice compassion outside narrow interpretations.

Sometimes love harms. When you love someone and want what you think is best for them but you’re wrong you cause harm. God knows my dad did. Ideology can be psychologically damaging. If the church I was going to was the Westboro Baptist church would you still say it was good for me to go weekly? Church does not necessarily a better person make. The gospel can teach goodness, but it also taught incest and xenophobia.

@Squirrel That is your opinion. I would be more interested in the opinion of Weenis’ children.

I have always been the head of my own household.

I am sure that Weenis’ wife is a strong woman and together they co-parent in a healthy household. You seem to think that just because a man is strong and there for his family that the woman in the household is a feathery wimp, or being held hostage. I am sure that is not the case in Weenis’ house. I’m sure she is a very competent wife and mother.

@ladybarbara I’m interested in the opinion of weenis’ children upon reaching adulthood as completely fucked up human beings having thought for themselves in a manner that deeply questions his perspective. I’m interested in the opinion of their therapists and social workers and of informed CPS workers from a state outside the bible belt nor Utah.

Get them checked out by therapists and experts in child development that know what kind of adults they’ll turn into and if those experts tell me healthy well adjusted adults are arriving from it I’ll be glad for their sake to eat my words.

@Squirrel My wife got in an argument with a liberal Californian one time.

The Californian was completely triggered when my wife said the US started going downhill when women started voting.

I didn’t say a word during the exchange.

@Weenis Correlation does not equal causation, although implying women voting is a negative thing is extremely un-American. Do you dislike democracy? Do either of you actually believe women voting is a bad thing? I believe uninformed human beings shouldn’t participate in the electoral process, but I also believe we should help them stay informed, empowered, and well… not dumb enough to sincerely argue they shouldn’t themselves vote. Do you legitimately believe women shouldn’t vote? If so I’ll have lost a great deal of respect for you and believe your daughter will develop shitty codependent beliefs and your son could develop to be a “chivalrous” and well mannered “nice guy” sexist.

    This is funny.

Look, Squirrel. My wife just got home about 20 minutes ago. She was bringing my son home from working since 7am. He has been landscaping for a local electrician, and he’s making money.

    He’s 12.

He has also been building sheds, cleaning stables, moving rocks, digging holes. He can’t find enough work to do. Loves working.

    Did I mention he’s 12?

Not only does he have better work ethic than you do, he’s more mentally stable.

All the while, when he’s home, he’s doing his school work, reading books, or doing odds and ends stuff.

Now, regarding my daughter, a couple weeks back we did an open house type BBQ event over 2 days where we, as a family, toured a knife company.

My daughter LOVES knives. She was too young to be able to participate in the knife making event, where everyone made throwing knives. My son did, my daughter wasn’t able to. The knife makers could see how much she wanted to make knives, and how much she was admiring the fine craftsmanship. They set her up on a machine deburring people’s work. She loved it. The next day her and her brother got to practice and play with throwing knives.

    She’s 10.

Last night she cooked desert for everyone. It was very good. A few days a week she makes the family dinner, and on the weekend she can select a special baking recipe. She operates the kitchen all by herself. Moving her stool around the kitchen so she can reach.

Did I mention she’s 10? And probably cooks better than your own mom?

I’m not brainwashing them at all, I’m training them to live in a world where idiots like you procreate.

@Weenis hey I’m bigoted against ideologies and am not calling you an idiot. I’m secure enough in my intelligence to ignore the ad hominem since I’m engaging in some of my own. I didn’t say my parents’ childrearing was healthy and resulted in my being well adjusted, but a hard worker does not a healthy child make and a mentally ill adult out of the workforce does not a lazy stupid man make. I want to work and can’t wait to. Have you considered your daughter likes knives so much because she’s cutting herself in response to your parenting? My cousin makes knives and I believe that’s what got him into it.

Do you ever cook anything except from the grill? Does your wife ever do finances or the lawn? Do you promote the questioning of gender roles or equal pay for equal work even for single moms and lesbians?

What will happen when your son discovers porn? What will happen when your daughter realizes she can lead an independent and completely self sustaining life?

I’ve been at a conference all week. One of the keynote speaker said his mom worked with immigrants thirty years ago. He recounted how back then some of the immigrants would share with his mother how many Americans talked down to them, and his mother would always tell them they had just as much right to be here as anyone else. It seems like not much has changed over the last thirty years. Americans still have a mcdonalds on every street corner. We live in a land of so much waste and excess, and refuse to share. This is how we gained a reputation of being stupid and fat.

What I have learned is that there are great many white Americans who do not believe white privilege is a thing. They think it is made up. They have a rock hard ideology that is very, very hard to penetrate. You are better off voting, and mobilizing other people to vote. Communicate with people of color, and show them that we aren’t all the same.
