Van Gogh’s beautiful thing was the sky, the stars. He painted a Starry night after he had been going through a difficult time in his life. He looked at the stars and found comfort. What beautiful thing gives you comfort?

You, and you guys, myself, and my terrible friend included, all very beautiful people, at heart. My wife, my kids. And, on out (as far as I see).

Not saying most are there yet, far from it, but just part of the progression of the soul from a chunk of marble, to something far vaster.

Here? All old souls. Angel, human, or whatever. We are all the same.

My life here. The guy in the recliner watching Stargate and the cats lounging around us.

I love the sky and stars. I love seeing that Planet X/ Planet Nine is going away on it’s orbit and I look at it just glowing yellow in Orion. It has caused weather anomalies for 10 years and it will be still causing them for the next 7 years, until it gets far enough away. Slowly, the weather will return to the normal weather we used to know.

My new beautiful thing will be a project to make the dock on the other side of the Pirate ship (OK, it is really just two parson’s tables together in a long table) into a wharf with little shops and offices. The cats jump up on it from the pirate ship to walk on it getting to their cat food feeder on a corner table. I want it to be something lit up from within with hidden Christmas lights and furnished —– so you can look into the lit up windows and see goods for sale and a friendly tavern. I think it will be a nice back drop to the pirate ship that is next to our dining room table. It still has to be cat friendly and allow the cats to walk to the feeder.

I learned the hard way that cats can easily misunderstand the effects I use for zen entertainment. I once set a tray in the middle of the table. I put sand in the tray and a few rocks with zen words on them. Then, when someone came over for tea or coffee, I would give everyone a little rake to rake the sand as we enjoyed the conversations. The cats “Used” the sand and it ended up being a nasty thing in the middle of the table. The cats have no appreciation for “Zen”.

I love the effects that we have here. Immortal Pirate’s late wife and daughter painted the back yard like a deserted island paradise with muriels on the block wall of the sea and palm trees. Immortal Pirate built docks and chairs to sit and enjoy the back yard. It looks like a Hollywood set for a movie. We have sand piles along the painted fence —– and the cats do their cat thing where it can be cleaned up.

@Scarlett2 Yes, but I cannot remember her screen name. WAIT it was Mistral!!! Her icon picture was a squirrel and then a picture of herself upsidedown and rightsideup on the sofa. Well, she was an Army wife. They were in Tennessee and moved to Arizona. She got a divorce and a real good job driving fork-lifts and heavy equipment for a food warehouse. She met the most perfect man and they live together. They have a house in Phoenix, AZ. He plays in orchestras and plays several instruments and this gave Kayla the chance to see Austria, when he was in an orchestra in Austria. She is doing very well.

You know those cool, damp, and overcast days? Those days just have a calmness to them that I find the most beautiful. No bugs making annoying noises. Being able to breathe pretty well. No sun blinding me. Lol, people look at me weird or think I am joking when I say those days are beautiful. I just don’t care for the normal summer day. I like some overcast autumn days.

When i can’t sleep due to noise, i put on ocean waves as white noise, and it lulls me to sleep.

@Jear77 I used to live by the freeway and when trying to fall asleep, I could envision waves at the beach with the swish sound of every passing car. I pretended that the sounds of the trucks were boats speeding by. A motorcycle noise was a little speedboat in my mind.

There are train tracks close by and I love the sound of a passing train in the night.

@ladybarbara that is one of my favorite sounds, too, but not planes. Also, I find the aesthetics of train tracks nice, too!
