Mine, is Deadpool I and II. Because, I have an ex gf who looks just like Wade Wilson’s gf. And, I have an ex-gf who used to call me Mr Wilson.
I have a current gf now, so just as friends do I now recall them.
But, there is some value to nostalgia. Both are also… lost to the wind…
Let’s see here… no favorites, but a few notable ones come to mind:
Anne of Green Gables series
Sound of music
The King & I (It’s also a tragedy)
South Pacific
Many of the Elvis movies

@Jear77 sounds like you are older? Not born in 77?

@Lucifer Rising That’s what my parents watched… so I did too! I never watched movies on my own, and when I did/do, they’re never romances. Adventure. Mystery. Cartoons. Comics (both Marvel and DC). I don’t watch movies nor pay attention to them most of the time for romantic subtext.

@Jear77 Romancing the Stone probably is my favorite.
Deadpool is number 0, just in front of the favorite.
You got me at Marvel & DC. Just shut up and kiss me.
No, srsly – hey you could be a woman – I am a big superhero fan.
Because it is the only way we can be acknowledged, ala Glass/Unbreakable/Jungian ideology of archetypes… is correct.
Way better to be famous without anyone knowing who you are, then to be famous with everyone getting their mitts on you.
Jesus did not have a lot of fans hanging up there on the cross. His wife/companion/partner was asleep. God saved her from the worst of it.
Tales only the angels and demons know… all who have it pass their ears, do not live to tell the tale.
Joking. Of course.

@immortal_pirate What’s wrong with that romance? When 2 adults are passionate about each other, does it matter if they are the same sex?

@Santa Bunny For the record, immortal pirate and jeer may have – those kinds of feelings for me – but not I , for them.
DOn’t encourage them.
I get this even from men all the time.
EVEN from. It is women who get really riled up.

That is a hard question to answer. I used to like Alan Alda in “Same Time Next Year” because I was married to an Alan Alda look-alike, who had a personality like him, as well. But since the divorce, I wont watch it.
It is hard to answer because my favorite crushes are on men who don’t do romantic movies. David Schwimmer, Jessie Waters, and Danny Devito. The segment of “Friends” where David Schwimmer takes Jennifer Anston to the museum for a first date ( he brought apple juice boxes for them to drink) and has that moment of passion when he grinds against her on the floor and the juice box in his pocket breaks. As he squirts juice between them, she looks up at him and says, “Awwe! It’s OK. It happens ….” and he explains that he busted the juice box.
As for movies, “Yentle” was once a favorite, but now I don’t care for Barbra Streisand. So now it is “You’ve Got Mail”, with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.

@ladybarbara Grinding, squirting… Hrrrmmm.
Seems a little primitive.
What about somewhere in time, when the guy sees a picture of a woman on the titanic, and goes back to the early 20th century to be with her?

@five2one I will have to see it someday when it is playing and I can get control of the TV remote (which would be once in a blue moon.) Speaking about a blue moon, I have to get Immortal Pirate to come in. He is out front and wearing a kilt on a very windy day. The neighbors might be getting a bum deal.

@five2one I’ve seen it. It is a good movie, probably his best work, all of his Superman movies paled in comparison to Somewhere In Time.

@immortal_pirate a man with impeccably taste you are in film.

@five2one No. Immortal Pirate is the one with the TV remote and I am at the sink in the kitchen missing whatever is on TV. That is why there are movies that I have not seen.

@ladybarbara Haha… it has been out since the 80s.. I saw it as a teenager. It came out when I was ten. You should check it out. It is a romantic guy’s film, but one women can get into.

@five2one If it is ever playing when I have the time to watch it, and Immortal Pirate’s favorite shows are not on at the same time, then I will try to sit through it.
